Ubisoft confirms next Forward games preview event for E3 2021

There's only one way to go and it ain't backwards.

E3 is coming back this year, even if not in its normal mode of deployment. Still, that’s welcome news to us, and Ubisoft has just confirmed its Forward event time slot for E3 2021. Mark your calendars for June 12 at 3 PM ET, because that’s when the digital showcase will start rolling.

The announcement from Ubisoft was predictably light on the details for its E3 2021 Forward showcase. Naturally, there is much planning and decision making that must be done in the coming months. The games lineup will surely be dependent on how things progress internally, as the the company has already suffered a few massive delays to projects like Skull & Bones. It doesn’t take a PR manager to tell you it’s not a good call to reveal projects that are far from done.

In that sense, we can’t blame Ubisoft on holding back for now. The last thing any project needs is the pressure of hitting a release date if things aren’t going as planned. That doesn’t mean we can’t speculate what might be in store for the Forward event this summer, though.
