Ken Levine’s Next Project: An Interactive Twilight Zone Film

Will Ken Levine become the director of an interactive, live-action movie based on The Twilight Zone? It seems that that’s the case with the creator of the legendary video game series BioShock. At least that’s what he said to Wired:

“Interactivity is a spectrum, it’s not binary, (…) I think of it as the viewer’s angle in the chair. When you watch something, you’re sitting back in the chair. When you’re gaming, you’re leaning forward in the chair. This is an interesting place in between … your brain is forward in the chair.”

Interlude will provide the power and tech-knowledge to allow the viewers/gamers to decide about the final outcome of the characters.

How do you feel about these news? Did you see this coming? Do you like the idea of an interactive project or did you maybe prefer getting a 100% new game from Levine?
