Recently, Blizzard announced that Hearthstone would be getting a brand new expansion. Although we were not given any more details to work with, the reveal was supposed to take place today, March 15. Ever since the new expansion was announced, fans have been guessing what this could entail and what theme could be this time. Unfortunately, it has been announced that the Hearthstone expansion reveal has been delayed. We will have to wait a little longer to see what Blizzard has in store.
The Hearthstone Twitter account broke the news earlier today. The expansion reveal will now take place on March 17, which isn’t too terrible. As we have waited this long for a new expansion, another two days is something fans should be able handle. The Hearthstone reveal will be the first of three expansions set to arrive this year, so you can expect a good amount of content in the coming months.
Even more content is on its way
The updates do not end with Hearthstone. If you are a World of Warcraft fan, the upcoming expansion reveal date is still set for April 19. As fans eagerly await the expansion, we have the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship to look forward to which will begin on March 18. This will see players from EU and NA regions to compete for points. Then, the top eight teams will progress to the Circuit and Championship Global Finals.
It is definitely going to be an action-packed couple of months in the Warcraft universe. With new content and the esports side of the game getting ready to kick off, there is a lot to look forward to. As World of Warcraft was released back in 2004, it is great to see the developers keeping the game fresh with new content which does not seem to be slowing down any time soon.
