Shoot her down!

A Week 2 quest in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is to deal 500 damage to players from below. I know the best trick to complete the damage players from below quest in Fortnite, so let’s get right to it.

Fortnite: Best way to damage players from below

While you are out getting free items from Aphrodite, Artemis, Medusa, and Poseidon, you’ll want to keep a lookout for players flying with Wings of Icarus. The reason for this is the best way to deal 500 damage to players from below fast is to shoot players that are using Wings of Icarus to fly.

If a player is flying with Wings of Icarus, they will naturally be above you and you’ll naturally be below them. I’ve completed this quest very quickly by using an assault rifle on enemy players I’ve seen flying around the map. You can use a sniper rifle or a DMR to deal more damage, but it’s harder to land your shot.

Another way you can complete the damage players from the below quest is to stay on the ground floor of a POI and shoot any player you see above you. Every POI in Fortnite is vertically layered which allows you to deal damage to players above you. You just need to be careful.

I caution you in using the ground floor strategy because it’s always beneficial to have the high ground and get the drop on your enemy in Fortnite. I’ve died numerous times to enemy players who fall from the sky and hit me with a Gatekeeper Shotgun before I can react. If you feel comfortable keeping an eye on the higher layers of the POI you’re at, then you can score some good damage against players from below.

I recommend you stick to the Wings tactic as you rack up 500 damage to players from below. If you hit players flying with Wings of Icarus, you’ll finish this quest in no time.
