When do enemies and resources respawn in No Rest for the Wicked?

Do they come back?

After clearing an area in No Rest for the Wicked, you may be wondering when enemies and resources respawn, if at all. If you’re worried about not gaining enough resources or having enough enemies to kill, let’s uncover how mob and resource respawns work.

No Rest for the Wicked: How often do mobs and resources respawn?

What happens if you collect all resources and kill all mobs in an area, are they gone for good? Luckily, in No Rest for the Wicked, resources respawn after an hour, and enemies respawn after completing the prologue.

Resources will respawn a lot quicker than enemies do. You don’t have to wait to complete one area of the game either. After around an hour, resources will respawn in once-cleared areas. You’ll notice when some areas have changed if you look at your map and some areas you’ve already explored are greyed out again.

Normal resources that you’ll see on the ground will respawn, but that’s not all. Trees, ore veins, and dig spots that you use tools to harvest like your Shovel, Pickaxe, and Axe will recover. You’ll also notice chests will replenish, which is a nice surprise.

Unfortunately, enemies won’t respawn until you complete the prologue and unlock a new region. Anytime you move between regions, enemies will respawn, allowing you to collect EXP from mob farming at your leisure. As for bosses, I’m not certain if they respawn. My guess is that main campaign bosses like Warrick the Torn don’t come back after you defeat them.

If you’ve yet to leave the prologue area, you won’t be able to have enemies respawn until you make it past the first region, but you should be able to gain enough EXP to tackle the first big boss. Now that this question is answered, what about the question of stat respecing?
