IO Interactive Lays Off Employees

Reports indicate that IO Interactive laid off 35 employees last week.The news comes from Danish website ComputerWorld (spotted by Gamasutra) which has word that the Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days developer has laid off 35 employees.IO Interactive general manager Niels Jorgensen refused to comment on the specific number of employees laid off, but he did confirm that layoffs had taken place.”We are sorry to have to say goodbye to employees, but it is a natural process when working in a project[-based] organization,” said Jorgensen, going by Gamasutra.IO Interactive is currently working on Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, due out on 27 August.
