After days of tense DOTA 2 battles it’s all over. The DOTA 2 The International 4 winners stomp home with $5,028,308 after an entertaining final.

ViCi and Newbee were the last two teams standing and this evening the winning team was crowned. This DOTA 2 final wasn’t quite as tense as last year’s event but it was massively entertaining and went to four games.

Newbee came out on top and outclassed their opponents with a three one victory to take the title and the whopping $5,028,308 prize. ViCi took the first game but it was an uphill battle from that point as Newbee got over their first game jitters and dominated with ViCi calling GG more than once. The matches were shorter than most of us would have expected for a final.

Tim will be back with a full report this evening where he’ll take a closer look at the final and the event as whole. A massive congratulations to Newbee who have just scooped one of the biggest prizes in eSports.
