GRIN Closes

After days of speculation, developer Grin has now closed its doors.A note from Bo Andersson (Founder/CEO) and Ulf Andersson (Founder/Director) on GRIN’s website touches on the reasons for closure and offers thanks to company supporters over the past 12 years.”It is with a heavy heart we announce today that GRIN has been forced to close its doors. This as too many publishers have been delaying their payments, causing an unbearable cashflow situation.”GRIN most recently worked on Capcom’s Bionic Commando and Warner Bros. Terminator: Salvation, both titles having come in for some criticism.Seven years ago we had the pleasure of meeting the GRIN guys at ECTS for the first time when they were showcasing BANDITS: Phoenix Rising, their mission-based driving title which was a lot of fun and looked fantastic at the time. A great bunch of chaps and we wish them well in their future endeavors.
