This week in the IncGamers Poll, we’re canvassing opinions on Frontier’s decision to drop offline play from Elite: Dangerous. The company had originally intended (as stated in the Kickstarter campaign) to have an offline single player mode, but this is no longer the case.

Solo play will still be possible, but will also require an always-on internet connection in order to communicate with the Frontier servers which will hold things like dynamic marketplace data.

This news hasn’t gone down well with some of the Elite: Dangerous community, but how do you feel about it? As usual, you have a few responses to choose from. These range from the “it’s disgraceful, refunds are in order” variety, to “it’s not great but I’ll live with it.” If you’re totally fine with the decision, you can opt for a reply along those lines as well.

You can vote on the poll below, and it can also be found on the right-hand side bar. It’ll be running until the weekend.
