How to find all Aquamarine crafting materials in Final Fantasy 16

This guide will first show the locations of all eight Aquamarine crafting materials in Final Fantasy 16. Afterward, we will discuss everything that can be crafted using this rare material.

Just a heads up, it’s recommended to first acquire the Adder Stone before attempting to find all Aquamarines. The Adder Stone glows and makes a noise whenever you come close to an Aquamarine, making this task much easier. You can get the Adder Stone by completing the “What Ails You” side quest.

To get the Aquamarine in this location, you must first defeat a giant turtle enemy. The Aquamarine is stuck to its back, and once you defeat it, Clive will automatically add it to your inventory. The easiest way to find this location is to travel to the Tailwind Bay Obelisk and head south.

Aquamarine location #5: The Sunken Ruins

Players can find an Aquamarine near a broken structure at the edge of the water in The Sunken Ruins. This area is located north of the Riversmeet Obelisk.

Aquamarine location #6: Right outside Haven

This Aquamarine is arguably the easiest to find, as all you need to do is progress through Haven’s north gate until you reach a pack of enemies. The Aquamarine is found near the enemies, up against a rock.

Aquamarine is a very valuable crafting material in Final Fantasy 16, as it allows you to craft the Serpent Rings. The Serpent Rings are accessories that Clive can equip to increase the potency of Leviathan’s Eikon abilities. Here are all the Serpent Rings you can craft with Aquamarine and what they do:

  • The Serpent’s Wonder (Deluge): Reduces Deluge cooldown time by 1.5 seconds.
  • The Serpent’s Watch (Abyssal Tear): Reduces Abysal Tear cooldown time by 2.0 seconds.
  • The Serpent’s Worth (Tsunami): Reduces Tsunami cooldown time by 8.0 seconds.
  • The Serpent’s Word (Cross Swell): Reduces Cross Swell cooldown time by 2.0 seconds.

Each of the Serpent Rings will cost you two Aquamarines. Head to the Blacksmith in Haven called The Hearth to craft these unique accessories.

Now that you have collected all the Aquamarine crafting materials in The Rising Tide, you’re on your way to being the completionist of the DLC. Your next job is to unlock the secret boss, which only the best player will have the courage to do.
