All Heroes and Abilities in Redfall

There are distinct characters and abilities in Redfall. The choices are yours, and yours alone!

Are you wondering what all the heroes and abilities are in Redfall? One of the best aspects of open-world fps games is the ability to play however we see fit. It’s fun to dive deep into the available characters and their abilities to understand what type of playstyle they truly offer. All four characters in Redfall represent a different playstyle: Aggressive, Elemental Abilities, Stealth, or Tactical. Here are all Redfall character abilities to choose a character that fits your playstyle.

Devinder “Dev” Crousley’s abilities focus on Elements like Shock and UV light, two primary weaknesses of the vampires found in Redfall. Here are Dev’s three unique abilities:

  • Arc Javelin: Throw a javelin to zap nearby enemies. It can be thrown into enemies or surfaces.
  • Blacklight: A modified camera creates UV Light to stun vampires and stagger humanoid enemies.
  • Translocate: Set a beacon to teleport back to it later. Activate by pressing the same button after you have deployed a beacon.

I found Jacob Boyer’s ability allows you to be highly stealthy, spot enemies, and deal lots of damage from a distance. Here are Jacob’s three unique abilities:

  • Cloak: Use the Stolen Bellwether Cloak to become nearly invisible.
  • Heartstopper: Summon a rifle, lock onto enemies, and deal lots of damage to them.
  • Raven: Your raven will fly to and mark enemies.

Layla Ellison’s psychic powers to fight vampires. In addition, her play style will allow you to approach more aggressively when dealing with vampires and other enemies. Here are Layla’s three unique abilities:

  • Lift: Launch yourself in the air by creating a psychic lift.
  • Umbrella: Blocks projectiles from enemy and friendly sources. Activate Umbrella again while active to release a psychic blast that damages enemies.
  • Vampire Ex-Boyfriend: Layla’s vampire ex-boyfriend will attack and distract enemies. I found that you can use this ability either offensively or defensively, depending on the situation you find yourself in.

Remedios Del La Rosa

Remedios “Remi” De La Rosa’s abilities allow you to take a more tactical approach to Redfall, depending on the situation you find yourself in. Additionally, she is instrumental in both Solo and Co-Op modes due to her healing ability. Here are Remi’s three unique abilities:

  • C4 Charge: Throw an explosive object that will stick to enemies and surfaces.
  • Mobilize: Creates a circle that heals all inside players over a specific period.
  • Siren: Summon a robot that will tank damage and distract enemies.
