All new items added to FFXIV Mog Station in preparation for Fan Fest

It's ok. I want the motorbike too.

FFXIV‘s Fan Fest is almost upon us, and the Mog Station premium shop has received a slew of new items. There are plenty of cool new emotes, and the Mount, in particular, might be worth a look if you play with a friend. These are all of the new items added to FFXIV Mog Station in preparation for Fan Fest. As always, these items are cosmetic and aren’t required to enjoy the main game.

Here is every new item added to the Mog Station. Unfortunately, you can’t preview the Mount in-game, but Square Enix has uploaded a short demo of it in action on their official YouTube channel.

Mount

  • Garlong GL-IS

This is a two-person Mount, and whoever is the passenger crouches on the back of the sidecar. If you thought you were going to replace Alpha in the seat, not even the Warrior of Light is important enough to do that.

Emotes

  • Advent of Light
  • The Cheer Jump: Green
  • Cheer Wave: Violet
  • Cheer On: Bright
  • Fan-tastic Cheer Set

Orchestrion Rolls

  • Eorzean Symphony Orchestrion Roll Set
  • Pulse Orchestrion Roll Set II

The addition of these items also marks the start of a sale across these and the Moonfire Faire items. The sale runs from July 24, 2023, to August 17, 2023.

What’s so special about the new Mount?

The Garlond GL-IS is special because it has a speed enhancement, and the in-store description reads the following: “This mount can travel at the first enhanced level of mount speed in areas where increased mount speed is available.”

Usually, you can’t explore a new area at full speed without unlocking it with a map. The speed enhancement lets you bypass this somewhat, although you still can’t fly without unlocking the aether currents. There are currently only two mounts in FFXIV that enable this speed boost, and the other (The SDS Fenrir from Final Fantasy VII) is restricted to a solo rider.

How do I access Mog Station?

If you’re on a PC and use the standalone launcher, you can access Mog Station through there. For all other platforms, you can log into the official store page. Both are new additions to Patch 6.45
