How to use Oil Veins in ASA Scorched Earth

The only way to use Oil Veins in Ark Survival Ascended Scorched Earth is to place Oil Pumps on top of them. Oil Pumps can be found in blue, purple, and red Supply Crates, or unlocked at level 60 with 24 Engram Points. They won’t help you find all the Scorched Earth Artifacts, but they are helpful in other ways.

Once you’ve created an Oil Pump, place it on top of an Oil Vein. It’ll extract one unit of Oil every 20 seconds and takes around 28 hours to fill up. This isn’t the only way to get Oil in Scorched Earth but it is the safest and the fastest.
