Playing the piano is just one of the many minigames featured in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and it’s surprisingly robust for a seemingly small diversion. Multiple music tracks can be unlocked throughout the game, and there are even some secret ones that aren’t listed on the main rewards page.

There are pianos in every major settlement in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and each new settlement typically has a new piece of sheet music that will add a new song to your collection. If you want to unlock songs like One Winged Angel, however, you’ll need to go a step further.

There are eight piano songs in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The majority of them are unlocked by exploring major settlements in each region, but a few of them require you to jump through a few extra hoops to obtain them.

If you get an A-Rank on the first six songs, you’ll receive a fully maxed-out Healing Materia and the Peerless Pianist collector’s item, which is required for Johnny’s Seaside Inn Treasure Trove in Costa del Sol. Collecting all 88 items for Johnny’s Treasure Trove will unlock the One Winged Angel sheet music as a bonus reward.

If you manage to score an A-Rank on a piano piece, then you can report your score to Dorian (who is usually standing right next to the piano) to receive rare Materia as a reward.

The final two piano tracks in the game — Let the Battles Begin and One Winged Angel — do not have any rewards associated with them. They’re pretty tough, so that’s one less headache you have to deal with on the road to 100% completion in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
