Let’s combat the randomness of the maps with some beneficial modifiers. Here are all Scarabs – new and updated – in Path of Exile Necropolis.

Path of Exile: All Scarabs in Necropolis Expansion

The new Necropolis expansion introduced many changes besides its seasonal content. One of the major things that was overhauled is the Scarabs. These are map fragments that will modify non-unique maps and, thanks to the Necropolis release, they have been reworked allowing for more diversity in their effects. Scarabs are obtainable through random drops and can also be found in Safehouses of the Immortal Syndicate.

Said diversification allowed Path of Exile to present a large amount of Scarabs that will allow for targeting farming of currency and League Mechanics or content. Let’s take a look at every Scarab in Path of Exile post the Necropolis expansion release.

Path of Exile: Reliquary Scarabs

Scarab	Description	Effect
Reliquary Scarab	Build for yourself a hoard a Dragon would envy. If they were real.	100% increased Unique Items found in Area.
Reliquary Scarab of Overlords	Pry it from their cold dead hands.	Unique Monsters in Area drop an additional Unique Item.

Path of Exile: Sulphite Scarabs

Scarab	Description	Effect
Sulphite Scarab	Delve into darkness in search of the truth…	Area contains Niko.
Sulphite Scarab of Greed	There is no such thing as “Enough.”	Map owner gains 150%& more Sulphite.
Sulphite Scarab of Fumes	When the land itself is sick, even the very ground rots and spills forth.	Sulphite found in Map Area releases Enraging Fumes. Monsters affected by Enraging Fumes have 500% increased Item Quantity. Sulphite in your maps is guarded by Monsters from The Azurite Mine.

Path of Exile: Divination Scarabs

Divination Scarab of Curation	Discernment is the key to attaining true control.	10% more Divination Cards found in Area per different Favoured Maps. Divination Card drops in Area are replaced by those of your Favoured Maps.
Divination Scarab of Completion	Pursue thy fate with grit, for it may arrive sooner than you think.	Divination Cards which drop in Area have a 20% chance to drop as a full stack instead.

Scarab	Description	Effect
Torment Scarab	Their crimes in life haunt you in death.	Area is haunted by 5 additional Tormented Spirits.
Torment Scarab of Peculiarity	Now there’s a blood-curdling wail I haven’t heard before!	Tormented Spirits in Area are replaced with unusual variants.
Torment Scarab of Release	If it could end, it wouldn’t really be damnation.	Tormented Spirits in Area have a 25% chance to be set free when Possessed Monsters are slain,

Path of Exile: Anarchy Scarabs

Domination Scarab of Terrors	Whatever the prize, fight for it.	Shrines in Area are guarded by an additional Map Boss. Modifiers to the Final Map Boss also apply to these guardians.

Path of Exile: Incursion Scarabs

Scarab	Description	Effect
Incursion Scarab	Uncover the secrets of the Vaal one incursion at a time.	Area contains Alva.
Incursion Scarab of Invasion	A gate, once opened, may swing in either direction.	Area contains 12-16 additional packs of Incursion Monsters.
Incursion Scarab of Champions	Only the best served in Atzoatl.	Incursions in Area have a 35% chance for all Monsters to be at least Magic. Incursions in Area have 15% increased Pack Size.
Incursion Scarab of Timelines	They say if you go far enough, you will meet yourself.	Final Architect slain in Area will drop an Itemised Temple. Itemised Temples dropped in Area are generated based on current temple layout, but with randomised room tiers.

Blight Scarab of Blooming	Once a century, the Blight spills forth…	Blight Encounters in Area have up to 3 additional Unique Bosses. Unique enemies in Blight Encounters have 100% increased life. Tier 14+ Blighted Mpas found in Area drop as Blight-Ravaged Maps instead.

Breach Scarab of Splintering.	Bit by bit.	Breach Monsters in Area drop 50% more Breach Splinters. Clapsed Hands in Area drop 50% more Breach Splinters.
Breach Scarab of Snares	Care where you step.	Breaches in Area have 5 to 10 additional Clasped Hands. Clasped Hands in Area are guarded by a rare Breach Monster.

Ambush Scarab of Containment	The silence belies lurking doom.	Area contains many additional Strongboxes. Area’s inhabitants are lying in ambush.
Ambush Scarab of Discernment	A keen eye sorts the worthy from the chaff.	Strongboxes in Area are more likely to be rarer varieties.

Beyond Scarab of the Invasion	The fated hour is almost nigh.	Unique Monsters slain in Area create 8 to 12 additional Beyond Portals.

Ultimatum Scarab of Catalysing	Most regret finding out how the powder is made.	Ultimatum Encounters in Area will only offer Catalysts as rewards.
Ultimatum Scarab of Inscription	There is always a wager to be made… if you can afford it.	Ultimatum Encounter rewards in Area offering Catalysts will offer Inscribed Ultimatums instead.

Delirium Scarab of Neuroses	Toothy grins shine in the dark.	Delirium Encounters in Area contain all Unique Delirium Bosses. Can only be used with Tier 11+ Maps.
Delirium Scarab of Delusions	What are you talking about? The Atlas was always like this.	Maps found in Area have Layers of Delirium.

Scarab of Monstrous Lineage	The bloodlines evolve faster than they can be culled.	40% Increased Magic Pack Size.
Scarab of Adversaries	They stand against you with equal enmity.	Area contains 4 additional Packs with Mirrored Rare Monsters.
Mysterious Scarab	They chitter, they crawl, they bite… and they swarm.	Area contains 40-60 additional Clusters of Mysterious Barrels.
Scarab of Hunted Traitors	Nothing is as unforgivable.	Area contains Hunted Traitors.
Scarab of Stability	Astonishing! A means to sustain the connection…	Portals to Area have a 50% chance to not be consumed on use.

Path of Exile: Horned Scarabs

Scarab	Description	Effect
Horned Scarab of Bloodlines	Only the hardiest survive. Only survivors perpetuate.	All Monster packs in Area are at least Magic.
Horned Scarab of Nemeses	Glory draws ever tighter its own doom.	Rare Monsters in Area have 2 additional Modifiers.
Horned Scarab of Preservation	We must not forget those who came before.	Other Scarabs are not consumed on use.
Horned Scarab of Awakening	The Atlas can be anything you want… and everything you want.	You can select one Imbued crafting option on the Map Device.
Horned Scarab of Tradition	To the strongest, prosperity be thine.	All Rare Monsters in Area have at least one Reward Modifier. Player Modifiers to Item Rarity and Item Quantity do not apply in Area.
Horned Scarab of Glittering	Wealth flows to those that shine brightest.	Players in Area gain increased Item Rarity and Item Quantity for each Monster slaine recently, up to 200% and 100% respectively.
Horned Scarab of Pandemonium	Punctured dreams bleed into the mind.	Monster packs in Area have a 15% chance to be replaced by a random Atlas Boss. Modifiers to the Final Map Boss also apply to these Atlas Bosses.

As said above, all of these Scarabs will be obtainable by random drops. Naturally, the rarest Scarabs will not drop as often, so you are bound to do some Scarab farming eventually. You can use the Betrayal League to target Scarab drops as well as other League Mechanics like Ritual or Incursion. Be that as it may, just make sure to keep farming consistently and hope the RNG overlords shine upon you in Path of Exile Necropolis.
