The Tall Tales in Sea of Thieves is one of my favorite features to play, especially with friends. But what makes it truly worthwhile, is collecting the rewards that come with them.

You will earn cosmetic rewards when completing commendations when playing Tall Tales in Sea of Thieves.
Note that some of these commendations will require you to play the same Tall Tales a few times.

As you can see, there are some incredibly unique prizes for those who go after all the commendations, although there are some sweet rewards for players who just complete each Tall Tale once.
Now you’ve seen all the prizes, it’ll be worth going over how to begin each quest.
How to start all Tall Tales in Sea of Thieves
There are 20 Tall Tales currently in the Sea of Thieves, each separated into their own storylines. This means that (for the most part) you can’t just begin any Tall Tale, you must start with the first of each storyline and advance in order. When diving you’ll be brought right to the island where you can begin the Tall Tale.
Like usual voyages, players will have to vote for the Tall Tale to begin.
Maiden Voyage
The Maiden Voyage is a tutorial for the Sea of Thieves, although players will have to manually select to play it. This can be done in the main menu.
Upon clicking “play,” players will be presented with choices. From here, you can jump straight into the Maiden Voyage. Make sure to collect all the commendations whilst you’re there!
Shroudbreaker Tall Tales
The Shroudbreaker Tall Tales are my personal favorite, and were the first Tall Tales to be added to the game. Note that upon finishing The Cursed Rogue, the subsequent four Tall Tales are unlocked, but those four need to be completed (in any order) to unlock The Fate of the Morningstar.

The Ashen Age Tall Tales
The Fireheart Tall Tales was the second set of Tall Tales to be added to Sea of Thieves, preparing the world for Captain Flameheart. You can play these Tall Tales in any order.
