Amazon Launches Video Game Trade-In Service

Online retail giant Amazon has launched its own video game trade-in store, offering £27.74 for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood on PS3.
Customers can trade-in their old games in return for credit to their account.
The site lists everything it accepts and, once you’ve selected what you want to trade in, it then gives you a trade-in price. From there, you send the items to them – post free- and – as long as they are in an ‘acceptable condition’ – you will receive a gift card credited to your account.
“Trading-in with is quick and easy, providing customers with a great way to exchange their old games and save money on future purchases,” said Chris Poad, director of video games at Ltd.
“It’s a hassle-free experience with Amazon paying for postage and putting a Gift Card straight into the customer’s account once the item is received.”
Trade-in prices are guaranteed provided that they are postmarked within seven days of submission.
