Age of Conan’s game director, Craig Morrison, has released his latest monthly letter, talking of the achievements over the past months and of things to come.
He mentions the players that returned to the game following the recent re-evaluation offer, and thanks them for giving the game another chance while stating that more new content and improvements are coming. Veteran rewards are are said to be arriving in the ‘near future’, as part of the next major update cycle. Veteran players will have access to special vendors that will provide social status items and other convenience objects.
Morrison also talks about Guild renown and explains how players earn the new resource:
“Guild Renown is a system whereby the actions of any individual player count towards their guild’s reputation. Collectively, guild members can level up their guild in three distinct categories to gain access to new guild rewards and bonuses.”
He goes on at length, describing rankings and points. Check out the AoC site for the full run-down.
