Hottest Storm Point POIs

  • The Pylon
  • Ceto Station
  • Downed Beast
  • Launch Pad
  • The Wall
  • Command Center
  • Barometer

Wattson’s Pylon is a fresh new POI for Season 19 that Respawn created to entice players as a dynamic hot drop. This definitely works, and it provides a ton of loot and vertical gameplay. Ceto Station is also new, and it replaced Prowler Island. With this being near the center of Storm Point, it’s certainly a busy area with many intricate buildings.

Downed Beast is still an interesting spot on the northwestern side of Storm Point. It’s got two nearby Respawn Beacons and a load of loot to collect. Launch Pad includes high-tier loot, and is heavily connected to nearby POIs. This is still a popular hot drop for squads.

This massive Command Center is an indoor building that catches a lot of squads’ eyes. Other hot POIs surround it, making it a popular rotation point with plenty of loot inside. Barometer is a hot central point to this map, including a tall tower and spinning platform. It’s great for loot, but its specialty is the height advantage you get when at the top.

Balanced Storm Point POIs

  • Cascade Falls
  • Zeus Station
  • Storm Catcher
  • Cenote Cave
  • Lightning Rod
  • The Wall
  • Coastal Camp

Cascade Falls is quite the open area with not too much loot, but it’s still a popular spot for squads to drop. The verticality of the higher area reachable by zipline makes this a decent spot to surprise enemy teams. Although Zeus Station has a ton of loot and is a valuable spot, it’s near the very high point of the map, making it a spot that isn’t as popular as others.

Storm Catcher is now destroyed by the storm from the previous Season, but it’s still a great area to drop. Although I find it’s surrounded by a lot of spacious land that feels a bit disconnected from other POIs. Cenote is one of the largest POIs with tons of space and plenty of loot bins, but it’s also pretty stranded from the action.

The good thing about Lightning Rod is that it contains high-tier loot, but it isn’t a common hot drop. It’s also an incredibly large area with various different buildings. The Wall, despite it having mid-tier loot, is a pretty popular POI. There’s still a lot of open area around this POI though, making it not as hot as other drops.

Coastal Camp is also new to Season 19, and despite it being far south of Storm Point, it has a lot to offer. It includes a smaller playable space for easy fights, and is a decent place to drop for starting loot.

Safest Storm Point POIs

  • Echo HQ
  • The Mill
  • North Pad
  • Devastated Coast

Echo Headquarters being one of the smallest POIs makes this a pretty safe drop. It’s new to Season 19, and it’s between a few hotter POIs. Marked by two large windmills, The Mill is another small POI with most of the loot hidden inside each windmill. It’s also surrounded by quite a bit of empty land to its south.

North Pad is a pretty remote location sitting at the top left corner of the map. It’s quite massive, and has a ton of loot, but you shouldn’t have too much trouble fighting over it. Devastated Coast was hit hard by the storm, and contains remains of the Fish Farms. It makes for an interesting fighting area, but I don’t see many squads exploring this area.
