Watch Dogs on Wii U has been an interesting development cycle, primarily because of the on again off again rumors that it is cancelled. NintendoEnthusiast did some investigative work during that time and found out that the game was indeed still scheduled to hit the Wii U. Now it looks like there may be a bigger problem brewing at Ubisoft when it comes to Watch Dogs on all platforms.
Ubisoft today has filed to remove one of their six patents on Watch_Dogs. Why would they do this so close to the estimated release of the game? With reports of the gaming costing a fortune to make, and a strong delay from the holiday season to Q1 projected, is Ubisoft still doubting their ambitious sandbox-hacker game?
