All Armored Core 6 combat log locations, explained

While you only need five combat logs to complete the Retrieve Combat Logs mission in Armored Core 6, you’ll earn more credits if you find all eight combat logs.

Here’s the trick: look for the orange fires and black smoke. Since the mission area is icy white and stony gray, you’ll easily find all eight combat logs by looking for the orange fires and black smoke trailing above destroyed mechas.

To get all eight combat logs before your four minutes are up, I highly suggest avoiding all the enemies. Use a beefier mecha build, like one of the best builds in the game, to safely avoid the enemies without dying. Also, use your Assault Boost at all times to get around quickly.

Here are the exact locations to find all eight combat logs in AC6.

Two combat logs are found in the beginning city area. One is found on the right side of the ramp leading away from the city, which is found on the right side of the city. Two are found by the snowy road just on the other side of the crater. Two combat logs are found inside the crater. And the sneaky last combat log is found on the left side fo the crashed ship, left of the city.

While you’re in the crater, you’ll get attacked by an enemy AC. If you have the time and confidence, quickly take out the enemy AC. If you still need to get a combat log or two, avoid the enemy AC for now and then replay the mission with the only intention of destroying the enemy AC.

With the Retrieve Combat Logs mission done, you now need to learn how to beat Balteus, the next (and the hardest) boss in the game.
