Batman: Arkham Knight flexes its beefy PC bat-specs

Nvidia’s GeForce site has put up some minimum, recommended and “my PC is a supercomputer” specs for Batman: Arkham Knight, giving an early idea about how it may run on your own box. These are by way of Blue’s News.

Now, because it’s a GeForce piece, there aren’t any AMD cards listed. I’ve done my best to suggest some equivalents below (with help from the hierarchy chart at Tom’s Hardware,) but be aware that the AMD bits are in no way official. That’s just me making (hopefully) educated estimations.

Here’s the spec run-down.

Minimum System Requirements.

• OS: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required).
• Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz.
• Memory: 6 GB RAM.
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. (AMD estimate – I think the 660 sits between the 7850 and 7870, so leaning towards the latter or an R9 270x here.)
• Graphics Memory: 2 GB.
• DirectX®: 11.
• Network: Broadband Internet Connection Required.
• Hard Drive Space: 45 GB.

Recommended System Requirements.

• OS: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required).
• Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz.
• Memory: 8 GB RAM.
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. (AMD estimate – Closest would be the old 7950 or an R9 280x, I think.)
• Graphics Memory: 3 GB.
• DirectX®: 11.
• Network: Broadband Internet Connection Required.
• Hard Drive Space: 55 GB.

ULTRA System Requirements

• OS: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1 (64-bit Operating System Required).
• Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz.
• Memory: 8 GB RAM.
• Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. (AMD estimate – Again, there isn’t really a direct equivalent. The R9 290x is slower (more like a 970,) but close.)
• Graphics Memory: 3 GB.
• DirectX®: 11.
• Network: Broadband Internet Connection Required.
• Hard Drive Space: 55 GB.
