Best Brawler build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

Smash, smash, smash.

Buildcrafting is everything in Cyberpunk 2007 2.0. The all-new skill and perk tree make for a simple-to-understand and widely customizable playground. You can easily switch from being a stealthy, undercover hacker to an all-out brute of war with some quick tweaks. Knowing what the right builds for your chosen playstyle will allow you to refund and redistribute as the game goes on. This build, the Brawler, is one of my favorites for creating carnage in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update.

The Brawler build is all about crashing, smashing, and staying actively mobile around the map. High-speed movement and tanky damage will keep your character moving fast but obliterating enemies with the heaviest weapons they can find. Close-range combat with Shotguns and Hammers is what this is all about. You can take a detailed look at the build here.

Body

Max out your body tree first, using your attribute points to unlock the final stages of the section. Using the Body skill tree, you should look to focus on the far right first. Wrecking Ball and Quake are going to be your best friends when you’re moving around in a crowd. They will help you dash around the map with your blunt weapon and heavily reduce the costs to your stamina as you go. You need to be nimble with that mallet. Fly Swatter is a great perk to pick up early on in this branch as it will help you mitigate incoming bullet damage when you block with your blunt weapon.

The center of the skill tree is also key to your survival as a Brawler build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. You’re probably going to be taking quite a bit of damage as you play so close range, but this can be reduced with the Adrenaline and Painkiller perks. Being able to develop an overshield while fighting and gaining huge boosts to Bloodpump cyberware will keep your health maxed out. Just ensure you’re packing the Bloodpump cyberware also.

The far left of the Body skill tree is all about those Shotguns. What better way to finish off an enemy than to explode theirs, and everyone around them, heads? While building up this tree, you will not only gain better weapon spread, improved movement, and reload speeds but also Obliterate, which gives you a chance to explode the heads of low-health enemies when using a Shotgun. Close Quarter Carnage gives this the chance to spread too.

Reflexes

The center of the tree is the core of the Brawler build movement in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. If you want to be working at brutally close range, you need to get in your enemies’ faces fast. Climbing this branch of the Relex skill tree will have your Brawler dancing around a warzone like the club-wielding ballerina they are.

Picking up an air dash and double jump through the core of this tree will not only let you get close to an enemy without using stamina but will also give you air superiority. Double jump will pair perfectly with Quake from the Body tree. Your Brawler build will be able to gain extra height and, therefore, extra damage when slamming into the ground.

Mad Dash and Mean Streak are key elements to the Cyberpunk Brawler build also. Mad Dash adds 100% dash towards enemies, while Mean Streak gives 40% stamina back for every enemy neutralized. This results in endless dashing and constant pounding with your blunt weapon.

Technical Ability

This is the final tree you need to focus on in your Brawler build. Although not core to the whole construction, it will create a noticeable boost to your Brawler. Working up through the center of the tree will unlock extra slots for your cyberware.

The extra slots allow you to not only add more armor but also more blood pumps to work alongside the Adrenaline and Painkiller mods from the Body tree. As you upgrade your Technical Ability, you can also focus more on improving your Gorilla Arms, which will no doubt be the cornerstone of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Brawler build.
