Although not all the moons are ranked here, these top five moons should help you understand what’s best to go for according to best profit and survivability.

5. Experimentation
At hazard level B, Experimentation is an all-around decent moon to head to at the beginning of your playthrough. What I love about it is that as soon as you step out of your ship, you just walk forward and you can already see the main entrance.
The other few easy and free moons are a lot tougher to find the entrances of. But with Experimentation, you can easily bring your scrap to and from the main entrance. Everything’s just so easily accessible, and its higher hazard level makes this a part of the list.
4. March
March is an intermediate-level moon, but it’s still at the same hazard level as Experimentation. The ship isn’t too far from the main entrance, and there are three Fire Exits. This makes collecting scrap and spreading out a lot easier with your teammates.
Since March is also one of the free moons, it makes for a great choice between the free and pricey moons. You can unfortunately run into Circuit Beehives or the Forest Keeper, but overall March is a great moon to pick when you want to choose a free moon.
3. Rend
What makes Rend a great map is how easy it is to get to the main entrance because of the lights. Despite how foggy and blizzardy the weather is, it’d be tough to get lost here. With these expensive moons comes great scrap to sell, but be wary of the dangerous creatures that’ll be lurking.
Compared to the other two moons that cost money, since this is the cheapest out of the three, it’s fair to say that the cost seems to equal pricier loot. For better bang for your buck, choose the other moons in first and second place. But Rend is still a great moon for lucrative finds.

2. Dine
Dine is extremely similar to Rend, but the main entrance is a little farther away from your ship. It’s also a little more expensive than Rend, so you’ll know that the loot will be plentiful. But with these costly moons comes another price, and that’s the risk of death.
Dine has an S hazard level, which makes this one of the toughest to stay alive in. Come to Dine with a full crew, at least four people are necessary here.
1. Titan
In first place is unfortunately the highest hazard level at S+, but it’s worth it for the scrap. Titan’s main entrance is literally right behind the ship, which makes for a perfect and easy route to and from the facility. This is also the smallest of the maps.
Its difficulty makes up for its size. At S+, it costs 700 credits, be very cautious when pillaging Titan’s facility. This is where you’ll find the deadliest monsters, and probably the most abundance of them. But it takes the number one spot because of how easy it is to take high-quality scrap back to the ship.
