From the 4.3 update, Navia is an excellent main and sub DPS character who can deal a ton of Elemental Skill and Crit damage. If you finally have her, here’s how to properly build Navia.

Genshin Impact: Best Artifacts for Navia

When looking at the best Artifacts for this Geo Claymore user, the Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods set is made just for Navia. You should go for the full four-piece set:

  • 2-piece set bonus: ATK +18%
  • 4-piece set bonus: After using an Elemental Skill, gain +20% Geo DMG bonus for 10 seconds. When under a shield granted by the Crystallize reaction, this effect will increase by 150%, and this additional increase disappears one second after shield is lost.

You can farm for the Nighttime Whispers set at the Waterfall Wen Domain, right at the East Slopes of Mont Automnequi, which is in the Morte region of Fontaine. This set will help boost Navia’s Elemental Skill DMG with the help of the Crystallize reaction, which is her bread and butter.

As a Claymore user, the best 5-Star Claymore you can get for Navia has to be Verdict. Since Verdict meshes great with Navia’s use of the Crystallize reaction, it’s a perfect fit.

Base ATK48
Bonus EffectCRIT Rate +4.8%
SkillMany Oaths of Dawn and Dusk:
Increases ATK by 20%. When characters in your party obtain Elemental Shards from Crystallize reactions, the equipping character will gain one Seal, increasing Elemental Skill DMG by 18%. The Seal lasts for 15 seconds, and the equipper may have up to two Seals at once. All of the equipper’s Seals will disappear 0.2 seconds after their Elemental Skill deals DMG.

If you don’t end up getting the Verdict Claymore from your gacha pulls, I’d also recommend giving her these weapons:

  • Wolf’s Gravestone (5-Star): Increases ATK by 20%. On hit, attacks against enemies with less than 30% HP increases all party members’ ATK by 40% for 12 seconds. Can occur once every 30 seconds.
  • Serpent Spine (4-Star): Every four seconds a character is on the field, they’ll deal 6% more DMG and take 3% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of five stacks and won’t be reset if character leaves the field, but will be reduced by one stack when character takes DMG.
  • Talking Stick (4-Star): ATK will be increased by 16% for 15 seconds after being affected by Pyro. This effect can be triggered once every 12 seconds. All Elemental DMG bonus will be increased by 12% for 15 seconds after being affected by Hydro, Cryo, Electro, or Dendro. This effect can be triggered once every 12 seconds.

Genshin Impact: Best team comps for Navia

When trying to put Navia in a team, you’ll either want her as a main or sub DPS. Most commonly, she’ll work best as your main DPS, and you want team members to synergize well with the Geo DMG and help boost her Crystallize reaction. Here are some good team comp ideas for Navia:

Navia: Main DPSSub DPS: Xiangling
Sub DPS: Albedo/Zhongli
Support: Bennett
Navia: Main DPSSub DPS: Furina
Sub DPS: Albedo
Support: Bennett
Navia: Main DPSSub DPS: Xingqiu
Sub DPS: Fischl
Support: Bennett
Navia: Sub DPSMain DPS: Noelle
Sub DPS: Yelan
Support: Charlotte

In these team comps, I tried to make sure that either Navia was taking center stage in damage, or still being useful as a sub DPS alongside another Geo user. I’d say that the best team comp is the first listed, as it has a balance of Elemental DMG and helpful support. This team can also help boost Navia’s Crystallize reactions.

The second grouping works great since Geo can react well with Furina’s Hydro and Bennett’s Pyro elements. The same goes for the third team comp, with Fischl coming into the mix to synergize with Electro DMG.

Finally, if you want Navia as a sub DPS, I’d put Noelle as your main with Yelen as sub DPS and Charlotte as Support for a well-balanced comp.
