Remnant 2: Best new rings in The Forgotten Kingdom DLC

At the time of writing, over 20 new rings have been found in The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. Some are very well hidden, while others can be found lying on the ground on the main quest path. Unsurprisingly, the best new rings in the DLC are the ones that are a little trickier to find. Here are our picks for the best rings in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom.

Bloodless King’s Vow

The Bloodless King’s Vow is great for players who like to utilize Lifesteal and favors guns over melee weapons. This ring adds four percent of a player’s base ranged damage as Lifesteal. More Lifesteal equals more health, leading to staying in the fight longer.

Players can get the Bloodless King’s Vow ring by defeating the Bloodless Heir boss in Goddess Rest. To activate the boss fight, interact with the bowl behind the large door with a face on it in Goddess Rest.

Matriarch’s Ring

The Matriarch’s Ring is one of the best rings for players who enjoy a melee build. The in-game description is as follows “Perfect dodge reduces charged melee stamina cost by 100 percent for five seconds.” In other words, the Matriarch’s Ring allows melee users to play more aggressively.

Players can find the Matriarch’s Ring in the Ancient Canopy of The Forgotten Kingdom. It is located next to the cliff where you first meet Walt.

Rally Band

Another ring for the melee users is the Rally Band. The Rally Band converts Grey Health into normal health with every melee strike. Each melee strike converts up to 10 percent of max health. If you prefer a tank melee build, you’ll definitely want to obtain the Rally Band as it can make you tougher to kill and allow you to take more damage.

Players can find the Rally Band by speaking to Private Jack Driver in Luminous Vale. During the conversation with Jack, he will ask if you’d be willing to take him back to Ward 13. Agree to take him back and he will reward you with the Rally Band ring.

Tear of Lydusa

The Tear of Lydusa is my personal favorite in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom. While it has a downfall, the positives outweigh the negatives.

The way it works is this: increases healing and Lifesteal efficacy by 20 percent. However, it reduces the healing efficacy bonus by 1.5 percent for each 10 percent of missing relic capacity. So while you’ll get more health from Lifesteal, your relics will become weaker the less you have in your inventory. That negative point isn’t as bad as you think. An increase of 20 percent towards Lifesteal will make it so you don’t have to use many relics.

Players can get Tear of Lydusa in Lydusa’s Chamber after defeating her. Leave the area after the boss fight and return to find the Tear of Lydusa on the ground.

Token of Favor

Lastly, we have the Token of Favor as one of the best new rings in The Forgotten Kingdom. The Token of Favor increases all damage by five percent and gains a 10 percent critical chance against exposed targets.

This ring goes perfectly with an amulet that applies Exposed, such as the Birthright of the Lost. When an enemy is Exposed, they receive an additional 10% damage from all sources. However, if you have the Token of Favor ring equipped, that percentage will increase. It also is a huge bonus that it increases base damage as well.

That concludes our guide on the best new rings in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom. Before you go, check out our guide for all ring locations in the game.
