Best stamina recipe in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

How energizing!

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll probably spend at least as much time climbing and gliding as you did if you played Breath of the Wild. All of that activity burns through stamina in no time flat. Fortunately, there are recipes that let you craft meals to counteract the effect. Here is our guide sharing the best stamina recipe in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – best stamina recipe

You will find several different ingredients that restore stamina as you explore Hyrule. You can also cook a variety of elixirs that produce that effect. If you haven’t already, check our guide sharing how to make stamina elixirs.

Although elixirs help in a pinch, I find that I prefer making food items to get Link where he needs to go. There are some great contenders, but one clear winner. The best stamina recipe combines five Endura Carrots.

If you’re not already familiar with the Endura Carrot, check our guide on how to get Endura Carrots. Endura Carrots provide a temporary boost that extends your stamina meter beyond its usual limit. If you cook five Endura Carrots together, the temporary boost adds two full rings to your meter. While doing so, it refills your current stamina to the maximum. That’s as good as you can get.

Because Endura Carrots take so much time to acquire, you may wonder about a secondary option. In that case, look to Staminoka Bass. You can cook three of them together to produce a Fish Skewer that restores three standard rings of stamina at once. You will find those most readily in southeastern portions of Hyrule.

When making the above recipes, you can try mixing in other ingredients. However, I don’t risk getting creative with my carrots. There’s simply no finer recipe for your stamina needs than a batch of greens made with Endura Carrots.
