The best sub-persona skills in Persona 5 Tactica

Sub-personas make up quite a big chunk of what build your character is going to run for the game. As you progress through the game, you’re going to be finding better and better skills for each sub-persona, but there are some that just shine above the rest. Let’s talk about the best sub-persona skills.

Offensive skills

For the offensive side of your sub-persona skills in Persona 5 Tactica, you’re going to want to look for a simple upgrade on what you have right now. Maybe even looking for a different element. What this means is that as long as the offensive skill is a higher rating than yours, then it’s a great skill to have. But what might be the real best offensive sub-persona skill is looking for a different element, as they can have different ailments and effects on enemies in combat. For example, I think getting yourself a Garu/Garula/Garudyne, or its Ma counterpart, which can sweep enemies away and into a vulnerable state is always a great shout for rounding out your build and making sure a One More is just one action away.

Passive/Support skills

In my opinion, generally, the best sub-persona skills you can get in Persona 5 Tactica are passive and support abilities. Granting yourself a healing skill from a sub-persona can free up an entire slot in the party, thanks to not necessarily needing a dedicated healer if you have sub-personas with healing skills. Other ones such as the passive skills Regenerate and Invigorate, which restore an amount of HP/SP at the end of each turn are great too. My favorite skill is Hawkeye, which increases ranged attack range by a square. There are also other great situational ones like Endless Fighting Spirit that are a good shout but are obviously situational, meaning they’ll probably get less usage. Minthe’s Blessing deserves a shout out, too, lowering One More action SP costs by 20%.
