With the introduction of Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 Season 2, there are a ton of new options for customizing your build. If you’ve decided to be a Rogue, just as I did, you’ll find this guide useful. Each Vampiric Power has a different effect, and you can only use five at a time. Let’s go over the eight best Vampiric Powers for Rogues in Diablo 4, ranked from good to best.

All of these Vampiric Powers should work with any Rogue build. Some are even better for specific builds, but I made sure this list could cover nearly all Rogue playstyles. Let’s get into eight of the best Vampiric Powers ranked for Rogues in Diablo 4 Season 2.

8. Resilience

Only requiring two Eternity, Resilience allows you to gain 1% Damage Reduction for each 2% Life you’re missing. I’m putting this at the bottom of the rankings just because it’s good for survivability, but once you reach higher Rogue levels, you may not find it as useful.

The more your health decreases, the less damage you’ll start to take. This is good, but not one of the best powers you could have. Luckily, it’s good to have for any Rogue build.

7. Anticipation

If you’re someone who doesn’t like using Ultimate Skills because they have long cooldowns, I’m in the same boat as you. With Anticipation, your Ultimate Skills gain 20% Cooldown Reduction. Also, they gain 12% increased damage for any nearby enemy affected by your Damage Over Time effects.

It only requires one Divinity for such a useful Vampiric Power. Most Rogue builds include Ultimates, so I can see this working for nearly all of them. Anticipation also works great alongside Imbuements with your Ultimates to increase that Damage Over Time.

6. Undying

Only requiring one Eternity, Undying can heal you for 3% of your Life after casting Skills. This bonus doubles if you’re below 50% Life. Honestly, Undying can work with most builds, just because it works with any Skill.

I’d say either have Resilience or Undying, since both affect your ability to stay alive on the battlefield. You’d rather just have one activated at a time to make room for other Vampiric Powers, like the ones listed below.

5. Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a Major Vampiric Power, requiring two Ferocity, Divinity, and Eternity. With this activated, anytime you Evade you transform into a cloud of bats! This makes you Unstoppable for four seconds. Also, enemies along your path take 160% Physical damage and are inflicted with Vampiric Curse.

Vampiric Curse is a new effect in Season of Blood that becomes important during combat. Rogues are good at Evading during combat, and since I do it a lot, I believe Metamorphosis is a fun and useful Vampiric Power.

4. Moonrise

Requiring six Ferocity, Moonrise is another Major Vampiric Power. Hitting an enemy with a Basic Skill will grant you 4% Attack Speed for 10 seconds, stacking up to five times. When you reach max stacks, you enter a Vampiric Bloodrage. You’ll gain 160% Basic Skill damage and 15% Movement Speed for 10 seconds.

There’s a lot to this Vampiric Power. As a Rogue, you should gain abilities that allow you to move faster, so Moonrise works perfectly. It also allows you to build up that Basic Skill damage easily.

3. Accursed Touch

This Major Vampiric Power requires six Divinity. On a Lucky Hit, Accursed Touch will give you a 44% chance to inflict Vampiric Curse on enemies. Enemies with this curse have a 15% chance to spread it to other enemies. This power also deals 200% increased damage.

Vampiric Curse is a fun new effect to play around with, and this makes it easier to spread it across enemies. You can’t go wrong with the 200% increased damage either.

2. Ravenous

Although Ravenous is only a Minor Vampiric Power requiring three Ferocity, it’s still ranked high because of the benefits for Rogues. On a Lucky Hit, you have up to a 20% chance to increase your Attack Speed by 40% of your Total Movement Speed for six seconds.

Attack Speed is important for Rogues, allowing you to deal significant damage quickly. It’ll work with any Rogue build, and it’s super low on requirements.

1. Prey on the Weak

Surprisingly, another Minor Vampiric Power takes first place! Prey on the Weak only requires two Ferocity, and allows you to deal 16% increased damage to Vulnerable enemies. Enemies are Vulnerable while affected by a Vampiric Curse from your other Vampiric Powers.

Prey on the Weak really works for all Rogue builds, as they can gain access to the Vulnerable effect easily. I’d pair this one up with Accursed Touch to inflict that Vampiric Curse towards even more enemies. It barely requires any Pacts, and it’s a must-have for all Rogues.
