There is no doubt that the excitement for Fallout 4 continues to grow as we near its release. With that, more news in regards to game details continue to emerge. Bethesda revealed some more information regarding updates, mod support, and what you can expect from the season pass.
We’ll work with all of you to figure out what new things you’d love to see added to Fallout 4, whether they are small tweaks or new features.
Bethesda is promising more than just bug fixes with game updates. Much like Skyrim, which is referenced in the announcement, the game will also see new features implemented after launch. Bug fixes won’t be the only thing on the radar in terms of implementation in-game. And, the community will no doubt have a voice in the continued tweaks to just how the game plays.
The mod support will come in the form of the Creation Kit. These tools are boasted to be the same that the developers have used as well. These same tools will later come to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but PC can have them earlier.
Lastly, the Season Pass opens up for future content. The $30 for the pass will get you all the DLC content ever created for Fallout 4. The release states: “Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.” If this is a must have for launch, as it should be, there’s no doubt the pass may be worth it.
What do you think of the season pass? Are you looking forward to mod support?
