Blizzard registers trademark for Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard has been busy filing more trademarks, this time for Heroes of the Storm which has now been filed in the US following a New Zealand trademark filing for the same name.

As per usual nobody has any idea what the trademark could be for but there are numerous possibilities including a new WoW expansion, a Hearthstone expansion or something to do with their MOBA Blizzard All-Stars. It;s unlikely to be anything related to Diablo 3.

Each of these are possibilities but the most likely candidate would be a World of Warcraft expansion with some kind of reveal appearing at BlizzCon in November.

We still have no idea what Blizzard trademarked The Dark Below for so that’s also still up in the air. Ahh Blizzard, how you tease.
