The game is out and we’ve all been playing but how is David Braben feeling about it?
In a new Elite: Dangerous video development diary, Braben thanks the community for their support in testing the game during its alpha and beta phases. Braben also shares some if his highlights during development included the Kickstarter success, sharing the first alpha build with the community, his first docking with a station, playing on the Oculus with the DK2, the galaxy development and its accuracy, and more.
It has been a big year for Frontier, and although the game is still a little incomplete, it’s a great start for Elite: Dangerous. Braben stresses that “this is the start” in the diary and he sounds super excited to see how the game’s story unfolds and how players help shape the game.
Over the next six months it will be interesting to see how Frontier expand the game and it’s going to be one game we’ll be hopping in and out of it continuously to see how it’s shaping up.
