Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners are in for a treat, as Activision is opening up Call Of Duty Ghosts online multiplayer for free this weekend. However, this will be a very limited release.

Players will get to try out the new maps called Strikezone, Warhawk, and Prison Break, as well as a cooperative Extinction mode. Bear in mind, though, people who already own the game won’t be able to play with the people who are demoing it. After the weekend, whatever experience and stats demo players earned will disappear.
Still, if you haven’t been able to shell out for Ghosts yet, or aren’t even familiar or good with shooters, this is basically a no consequences demo so it should be worth a try, right? Watch for it this weekend.
