Cryptic Studios has announced details for the upcoming open beta test of its MMO, Champions Online.The closed beta will end on Sunday and all characters will be wiped in preparation for the open beta, which kicks off at 10am PDT the next day, Monday 17 August. Anyone who makes a character is then free to play the game “from start to finish”. Good luck with that though, the OBT is only open for seven days with two hours of maintenance per night between 1am and 3am PDT.Well, you wouldn’t want to experience of the whole game before the official release anyway, would you?When the OBT ends on 24 August the servers will once again be wiped and on Friday 28 August the Early Start Program begins.
