Dark Souls 3 will be coming to an end with the second of its two expansions; The Ringed City.
In this content update, players will find themselves chasing the Slave Knight to the end of the world as he searches for the Dark Soul of humanity. Players can expect to find “ancient beasts, a new cast of characters teetering on the edge of insanity, new armor, weapons, and magic”. The ancient city also awaits with new horrors should you make it that far.
The Ringed City DLC will be releasing on 28 March. You can see a few location and weapon shots below, along with the trailer. Looks like this expansion will be returning to the crazy collapsed city players witness at the game’s conclusion (or at least the peripheries of that place). The trailer also appears to (visually) spoil at least one boss in the traditional fashion, so watch out for that.
In related news, Namco has also announced the Dark Souls 3 The Fire Fades Edition, or GOTY edition if you prefer. This will include all the DLC, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City. That releases on 21 April.
