Bandai Namco officially announced that total worldwide shipments for Dark Souls III have surpassed three million copies, with total worldwide shipments for the Dark Souls franchise surpassing 13 million!
These numbers are pretty impressive, but they did not come out of nowhere, since Dark Souls III was an awesome release. The three million copies are based on all three available platforms (PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and they are including the following:
- 1 million in Europe
- 1.5 million in North America
- 500.000 in Japan
Dark Souls III, developed by From Software, will be the last game in the Dark Souls series, with Hidetaka Miyazaki working already on a brand new project.
