DayZ has just been updated to 0.46 and more changes are going into testing later today with a new experimental build.

    At around 7PM this evening a new DayZ experimental build will be deployed. There’s no full notes as yet but Dean Hall posted a quick update to say this new build will test “new server optimizations, ragdoll, and fixes for some bugs.”

    In case youp’ve not logged on yet today, the 0.46 build has been deployed on the stable servers and it comes with quite a few new additions including map areas, new animations, items and loot. The full notes are as follows:

    Known Issues: 
    Crash caused by Fireplace kit in players Inventory
    Character cloning
    Player can look through walls
    Zombies are spawning on spot of their death
    Player is stuck in building after reconnect
    Player cannot respawn properly when he has drowned
    Shadow related client FPS drops
    When restrained in unconscious player stays in restrained state till he reconnects

    Actions: You can sort out good ammunition from a ruined stack
    Animations: New reload animations for Longhorn and a second reload for the Crossbow.

    Animations: Throwing items reconfigured, staying wound up should not prevent the player from getting knocked down or cuffed
    Animations: Leaning tweaked in transitional states, should now allow for smoother transitions while leaning
    Animations: Fixed an issue where the character would not roll left/right with binocs in raised prone state
