Once you’ve purchased, unlocked, and started the A Rift in Time expansion, you’ll find Sea Snails in the first area of Eternity Isle, named The Docks on the map. They’re one of two sea creatures that spawn from blue ripple pools in the area, the other being the octopus. As per the fishing ripple pool rarity, blue ripple pools are rarer than the normal white ripple pools. This means you may have to fish around to get the blue ripple pools to spawn. The Docks have several spawning points for ripple pools, increasing the chances a blue ripple pool will spawn as you go along. However, you still have the octopus to contend with as the other yield from the pool.

All in all, this makes fishing up the Sea Snail a matter of patience. I got two octopi before it decided to give me two sea snails in a row on my next two blue pools. Sometimes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, all we can do is keep fishing and hope for RNG to be nice to us.

Once you do have your Sea Snail(s), you have several ways to utilize them. They sell for as much as oysters at 250 coins a piece at default price, making them valuable for money making. They’re also utilized in the Best Fish Forever recipe, and of course, may show up as gifts of the day for certain villagers. Best of luck fishing them up!
