It’s mentioned in the game raccoons like berries, but what kinds? Well, the three fruits that end in “berry” are fair game- gooseberry, raspberry, and blueberry. However, blueberry is the one to go with, as it’s their favored food. Raspberry and gooseberry are a raccoon’s liked food, but blueberry yields the highest affinity.

Blueberries are easy to retrieve off the bushes in Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor to go feed to the raccoons. It’s getting to a raccoon that is the difficult part. When a raccoon is standing up on its hind legs, stay still. When they lower back down, approach, but be ready for them to stand right back up. You have to inch up to a raccoon each time they lower themselves until you’re close enough that “E” to approach pops up. At that point, it’s safe to move normally around the raccoon, and you can feed them.

Like most other critters, raccoons come in five different colors: The classic black and white palette, blue, red, white, and brown and black. All of them are available from 12 am to 12 pm on Sunday and then on three select days of the week all day, except for the blue raccoon. The blue raccoon only spawns on Wednesday from 4 pm to 10 pm, so have your blueberries ready for that time of the week and plan to keep coming back if you want to get it as a companion option.
