Double Dragon Trilogy Coming To PC (But There’s A Catch)

At long last, the Double Dragon Trilogy of arcade games are finally coming to PC. However, we are not quite sure if we want to recommend them.

That is because this is not a straight up port of the arcade originals, or for that matter, the many ports these games received on multiple systems, but the most recent remaster that was released to Ouya and mobile devices.

Now, the games are certainly playable, but if you are an actual retro fan who bought this on Ouya or mobile, you’d know the game has serious issues with audio lag and responsiveness. While DotEmu may have fixed these issues, it would be best to take a wait and see approach with this one.

If you are interested, the game is coming to Steam, GOG, and Amazon, and most likely also on DotEmu’s own storefront.
