Dying Light: The Following

Techland have just announced a year-long series of free DLC in support of Dying Light. The popular zombie drop-kicking title will receive ten DLC ‘drops’ across the next twelve months, along with an eleventh that’s due in a few weeks time.

This ‘Drop #0’ will focus on introducing new enemies to the game, and is described as a taster of the other additions to come later in the year. In terms of what to expect from the next ten Dying Light DLCs, Techland says to watch out for “new locations, story-driven quests, gameplay mechanics, weapons, enemies, and more”.

The studio also plans to introduce many more community events; “up to” four per yearly quarter. In addition, they want to launch a special community platform where Dying Light players can request what sort of additions come next. As it happens, the game is currently 60% off on Steam as well.
