Elite: Dangerous Horizons v2.3 – The Commanders out today

The next major update for Elite: Dangerous Horizons comes out today adding a load of new features and changes.

This is the fourth update in the Elite: Dangerous Horizons season expansions and The Commanders adds new multi-crew co-op action, the Holo-Me avatar creator, the Dolphin passenger ship, a new third-person camera suite, asteroid bases and “awe-inspiring” Mega Ships.

The multi-crew is particularly interesting as it gives players the opportunity to board the same ship and take on specific roles such as controlling the Helm, being the Gunner, and the Fighter who will launch on their own ship from the launch bay.

The addition of the Holo-Me avatar creator is timely. It wouldn’t be much good if everyone on your multi-crew ship looked the same.

The update also launches for Elite: Dangerous players offering a stack of changes and improvements, so many in fact that you should just check the very long patch notes.
