The latest expansion to hit EVE Online, Tyrannis, is now live. Tyrannis introduces the new Planetary Interaction feature, allowing pilots to land on planets and build infrastructures such as command centers, extractors, processors, storage facilities and spaceports. The resources gathered from the planets can then be exported. The EVE gate, a new web portal for the EVE community has also gone live with Tyrannis, along with an in-game calendar, new light effects for Alienware computers.
