Familiar Faces Returning For Black Ops

Treyarch has confirmed to IncGamers that certain familiar faces from the Call of Duty franchise will be returning to Black Ops.
Community manager Josh Olin confirmed that the studio doesn’t “want to spoil it” by announcing how many characters will returned but did reveal one person from World at War that returns.
“Reznov, one of the Russian characters you saw in the Level Victor Charlie, he makes an appearance in our game. He’s a call-back character from World at War. He was Sergeant Reznov there and he was a protagonist in that game, he fought alongside you,” revealed the community manager.
However Olin didn’t detail exactly how Reznov will return only stating, “He makes an appearance in our game, I don’t want to say anything more than that because it’ll spoil the story.”
Finally adding, “We’ve put a lot of energy and effort behind crafting a really great single player experience, so we don’t want to spoil it. We want people to discover all the awesomeness that’s in single player as they play the game.”
Despite Bobby Kotick stating Activision will make Call of Duty: Black Ops the biggest launch ever, Treyarch confirmed to IncGamers that the developer is just focussed on making the best possible game.
Stay tuned for our full Call Of Duty: Black Ops with Josh Olin in the coming days.
