The Maiden’s Rhapsody event will be live in Final Fantasy XIV for two weeks. It will begin on Monday, January 22 at 12 am PT and end on Monday, February 5 at 6:59 am PT. During the event period, the questline “A Journey to Remember” will become available alongside the associated FATEs. To start the event questline, head to the Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks and speak to Remumu (X: 11.6, Y: 11.2).

If you complete the “A Journey to Remember” quest, you’ll get the Amatsu armor set for free. This is a gender-neutral armor set that can be worn by any race, and the headgear even works with Viera! Like all other event rewards, this gear set is level 1 and is intended to be placed in your glamour dresser so you can customize your appearance with it.

That’s all there is to earn during the Final Fantasy XI crossover event. Participating in the FATEs after the quest is over will not grant any additional rewards. If you’d like to experience the storyline again, you can use the seasonal event replay feature by speaking to Remumu after completing “A Journey to Remember.”

There’s not a whole lot to the Final Fantasy XI crossover event in Final Fantasy XIV, but at least you’ll be able to earn the Amatsu set without much hassle. That leaves you with plenty of time to wrap up any loose ends before the Dawntrail expansion launches later this year, like getting your Manderville relic weapons.
