Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood gets Collectors Edition, pre-orders up

The second major expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, Stormblood, is up for pre-ordering today ahead of a 20 June release date. There’s also a Collector’s Edition full of maps and art books and the like.

Stormblood will be increasing the Final Fantasy XIV level cap from 60 to 70, adding new jobs (Red Mage), and introducing new areas of exploration and new dungeons. It’ll also be adding a pair of raids, one high-level (‘The Bend of Time – Omega’) and one alliance raid (‘Return to Ivalice’). There will be a fourth regional district, new crafting recipes, and no doubt a whole bunch more besides.

All pre-orders get early access to Stormblood (it doesn’t say how early, just “ahead of launch”), an in-game Wind-Up Red Mage Minion, and some in-game Ala Mhigan earrings.

Here’s what’s in the Collector’s Edition:

  • Stormblood Special Art Box
  • Expertly Crafted Zenos yae Galvus Figure
  • FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood Art book
  • Cloth Map of Eorzea
  • Stormblood Logo Sticker
  • Exclusive In-game Items
    • Syldra Mount
    • Wind-up Bartz Minion
    • Chicken Knife
