Genshin Impact: Best Mika build – weapons, artifacts, and team comps

Buff your Physical damage dealers.

Mika is a 4-star character introduced to Genshin Impact in Version 3.5 and is a unique buffer for Physical damage teams. Mika is the “front-line surveyor” of the Knights of Favonius and is there on the battlefield to help you with heals and buffs. Mika is a Cryo healer, but he also brings a unique buff that not many characters have at a low investment. Mika has the potential to provide attack speed buffs, which help your characters use Normal Attacks at a faster and more frequent rate. Finally, Mika also can buff Physical DMG, helping characters like Eula dish out more damage. Here is our guide on Mika’s best build in Genshin Impact.

Noblesse Oblige

  • 2-piece bonus: +20% elemental burst damage.
  • 4-piece bonus: Using an elemental burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12 seconds.

The Noblesse Oblige helps Mika buff his teammates even further by also providing an additional 20% ATK buff after using his Elemental Burst. Mika’s primary utility is with his buffs, so this artifact set allows him to take those buffs to the next level. Unfortunately, the Elemental Burst buff is generally useless for Mika, as his Elemental Burst is a pure heal. Therefore, it’s not recommended to split the 2-piece Noblesse Oblige set with another artifact set.

Ocean Hued Clam

  • 2-piece bonus: +15% healing bonus.
  • 4-piece bonus: A Sea-Dyed Foam appears for three seconds, exploding to deal 90% of the accumulated healing and overhealing amounts.

The Ocean Hued Clam is Mika’s preferred artifact set if you wish to boost his healing output instead of his overall team utility. The Ocean Hued Clam gives healers the chance to deal some damage the more healing they do. Be sure to pair this artifact set with as many Healing Bonus stats as you can get to make use of the 4-piece bonus.

Favonius Lance – The Favonius Lance is one of the best support polearms in the game, due to its ability to provide energy particles to your teammates while also providing high Energy Recharge for the equipping character. It’s highly recommended to use this weapon to adjust for much of Mika’s Energy Recharge needs.

Black Tassel – The Black Tassel is one of the only weapons to give a flat HP% buff as its main stat, so this is a good choice if you have enough Energy Recharge on Mika and would like to buff his healing instead, which scales off of his Max HP. This is also a 3-star, free-to-play weapon, making it a great option for low-spending players.

Here are some of Mika’s best team comps in Genshin Impact:

  • Eula / Mika / Fischl / Rosaria: Eula is the premier Physical damage dealer of the game who can benefit greatly from Mika’s Physical DMG buffs. The attack speed buffs are not as impactful, due to Eula’s low attack speed, but Mika can help keep Eula healthy as she deals plenty of Physical damage. Fischl is here to provide some additional damage as well as the Superconduct reaction, which will increase your Physical DMG even more. Rosaria can provide Energy Particles for your Cryo characters, and at high constellations, provides another Physical DMG debuff on enemies.
  • Razor / Mika / Rosaria / Fischl: Razor is another Physical damage dealer who deals heavy Physical damage with fast Normal Attacks through his Elemental Burst. Mika, Rosaria, and Fischl perform similar roles here. Razor is a 4-star character, which makes this a cheaper, more free-to-play-friendly alternative.
