Best Clorinde build in Genshin Impact

Clorinde is best used as a DPS team member, better yet a main DPS. She’s great at dealing quick Electro DMG to enemies while on-field, and she can also stay mobile on the battlefield while still using her attacks and skills. Here’s how you can properly build Clorinde in Genshin Impact.

Best Artifacts

There are a few great Artifacts to choose from for Clorinde, but the one Artifacts set you should go for is Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy. This is because the Fragment of Harmonic Whismy set plays into Clorinde’s Bond of Life mechanics when she equips a 4-piece set. You can acquire this Artifact set from the Faded Theater Domain in Fontaine.

  • 2-piece: ATK +18%
  • 4-piece: When the value of a Bond of Life increases or decreases, this character deals 18% increased DMG for six seconds. Max three stacks.

If you’re looking for other options, I’d go for Gladiator’s Finale as it’s a pretty versatile Artifact set that would grant Clorinde an extra ATK and Normal Attack DMG boost. If you’re looking to play into Clorinde’s Electro abilities, try Thundering Fury which would increase her Electro DMG as well as DMG caused by Overloaded, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and Hyperbloom, amongst other buffs.

Best weapon

It’s tough to say which weapon is the perfect match for Clorinde, but I’d give the edge to Clorinde’s signature sword Absolution. This has a base ATK of 48, a bonus effect of +9.6% CRIT DMG, and a skill that synergizes well with her Bond of Life abilities:

  • Absolution Skill: CRIT DMG increased by 20%. Increasing the value of a Bond of Life increases DMG the equipping character deals by 16% for six seconds. Max three stacks.

If you don’t have Clorinde’s signature, weapon, there are a few other weapons you can go for instead, which are Mistsplitter Reforged, Haran Geppaku Futsu, or The Black Sword.

NameRarityBonus EffectSkill
Mistsplitter Reforged5-Star+9.6% CRIT DMGMistsplitter’s Edge: Gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for a character’s Elemental Type. At stacks 1/2/3, Elemental DMG is further increased by 8/16/28%. Each stack has an individual duration and are gotten through:
– Normal Attacks with Elemental DMG (duration five seconds)
– Casting an Elemental Burst (duration 10 seconds)
– Having less than 100% Energy (disappears at full Energy)
Haran Geppaku Futsu5-Star+7.2% CRIT DMGHoned Flow: Obtain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. When other nearby party members use Elemental Skills, the character equipping this weapon will gain one Wavespike stack. Max two stacks. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3 seconds. When the character equipping this weapon uses an Elemental Skill, all stacks of Wavespike will be consumed to gain Rippling Upheaval: each stack of Wavespike consumed will increase Normal Attack DMG by 20% for eight seconds.
The Black Sword4-Star+6% CRIT RateJustice: Increases DMG dealt by Normal and Charged Attacks by 20%. Additionally, regenerates 60% of ATK as HP when Normal and Charged Attacks score a CRIT Hit. This effect can occur once every five seconds.

Best Clorinde team comps in Genshin Impact

When deciding on the best team compositions for Clorinde, there are numerous routes you can go for with how many characters there are available to you in this game. Clorinde is best used as a main DPS, so taking that into account let’s go over which other team members can join Clorinde:

Main DPSSub DPSSupport 1Support 2
ClorindeBeidouFurinaBaizhu

Beidou is a great choice for a sub-DPS to help Clorinde deal significant Electro DMG to enemies. We also have Furina who can act as a buffer and healer alongside Baizhu.

Baizhu can cast shields while also healing the party. You’ll also get elemental reactions with the Electro, Hydro, and Dendro DMG going around.

Main DPSSub DPSSupport 1Support 2
ClorindeFischlNahidaBennett

This is sort of a similar set-up as the previous team comp, as we have Fischl here to back up Clorinde with further Electro DMG. The Electro DMG will create reactions with Nahida and Bennett’s Dendro and Pyro DMG as well.

Mainly, Nahida is here to buff Electro party members using her Elemental Burst. There’s also Bennett who can buff the party’s ATK while also healing them.

ClorindeRaidenKazuhaXingqiu

This last team comp has Clorinde and Raiden going alongside each other for powerful and fast Electro DMG output. Kazuha can act as both a sub-DPS and support with his Elemental DMG buffs.

Kazuha is also great at crowd control with his Elemental Burst attack that deals AoE DMG. Meanwhile, Xingqiu’s Hydro attacks can induce elemental reactions with the Aero and Electro party members, and his Elemental Skill generates healing and DMG mitigation.

Hopefully, you now have a better idea of the best Clorinde build and team comps in Genshin Impact. Speaking of Version 4.7 updates, have you heard about the new Imaginarium Theater?
