Diona is a Cryo support character who can shield and heal your team. Diona’s main function is in freeze teams to add some defensive utility to your team, while also providing some Cryo energy to your main Cryo characters. Here are some of Diona’s best teams in Genshin Impact:
- Diona / Ganyu / Venti / Mona: This team, referred to by the community as the “Morgana” comp, is one of the most common Freeze teams in the game. Venti provides crowd-control, swirl DMG, and elemental resistance shred. Meanwhile, Ganyu and Mona work together to deal high damage and keep the enemies permanently frozen. Diona’s role here is to keep her team healthy, and provide Cryo Particles to ensure Ganyu can keep using her Elemental Burst.
- Diona / Eula / Fischl / Beidou: Eula is the star here, and Diona is the one giving Eula some defense. Eula is the most powerful Physical DPS character in the game, Fischl and Beidou provide Superconduct which reduces the Physical resistance of enemies, while Diona keeps Eula healthy and ensures that Eula can keep using her Elemental Burst.
- Shenhe / Diona / Ganyu / Kazuha: Another good team to use Diona in is on a mono-Cryo team with Shenhe buffing Ganyu. Shenhe is a Cryo character who buffs other Cryo DMG in the game, giving her a unique niche. Diona is a strong choice in these teams, as she can provide lots of Cryo Particles and keep her team healthy as they mow the enemies down.
