You don’t have to complete any prerequisite quests to start this event! The only requirement is that your account be Adventure Rank 20 to participate. This event starts on November 9 and ends on November 20, with a total of seven different trials. One new trial will open each day, so check back on our guide for tips & tricks on each trial.

Each day features a new “trial” that pits you against numerous different enemies. You’ll also need to fulfill other objectives for rewards and buffs, such as triggering a certain elemental reaction. Each trial only allows a certain roster of characters, meaning you can’t use any character you want for a given trial. You can choose to use trial characters or your own character if you own them.

While traversing through each dungeon, you’ll have to find and activate “Ancient Runes,” which will spawn a group of enemies. If you defeat those enemies, you’ll gain a buff for the Final Challenge. Clearing Ancient Runes is technically optional, but you should at least do them to ensure you complete any additional challenges required of you.

Day One: Sensory Trial

This trial’s Leyline Disorder buffs your team’s Elemental Mastery after triggering the Electro-Charged elemental reaction. You can use these characters in the Sensory Trial: Neuvillette, Yae Miko, Zhongli, Sucrose, Fischl, and Sayu.

The rewards you can earn for today’s trial are as follows:

  • Complete the Sensory Trial: x40 Primogems, x30,000 Mora, x3 Chapter of an Ancient Chord
  • Trigger 30 Electro-Charged reactions in total: x20 Primogems, x20,000 Mora, x6 Mystic Enhancement Ores

I used a team of Neuvillette, Zhongli, Fischl, and Sucrose for this trial. At a minimum, you will need to bring a Neuvillette and one Electro character to create Electro-Charged reactions, but you can fill the remaining slots with any of the mentioned characters.

Day Two: Hammering Trial

This trial’s Leyline DIsorder buffs your characters’ Crit DMG and Crit Rate after using a Charged Attack on an enemy. This includes bow characters, which is fitting for today’s roster of characters. These characters are available during the trial: Lyney, Zhongli, Bennett, Xiangling, Yanfei, and Xinyan.

The rewards you can earn for today’s trial are as follows:

  • Complete the Hammering Trial: x40 Primogems, x30,000 Mora, x3 Sublimation of Pure Sacred Dewdrop
  • Deal DMG 40 times with Charged Attacks in total: x20 Primogems, x20,000 Mora, x6 Mystic Enhancement Ores

I recommend using a team of Lyney, Zhongli, Bennett, and Xiangling. Yanfei is simply a worse version of Lyney in terms of damage, and Xinyan is one of the weaker characters in the game.

Day Three: Frigid Trial

This trial’s Leyline Disorder buffs your characters’ overall stats after creating a Frozen reaction. Fittingly, we have a roster composed of Hydro and Cryo characters for today’s trial. The characters for this trial are as follows: Wriothesley, Furina, Kaedehara Kazuha, Xingqiu, Charlotte, and Mika.

The rewards you can earn for today’s trial are as follows:

  • Complete the Frigid Trial: x40 Primogems, x30,000 Mora, x3 Wine Goblet of the Pristine Sea
  • Trigger 30 Frozen reactions in total: x20 Primogems, x20,000 Mora, x6 Mystic Enhancement Ores

I used a team of Wriothesley, Furina, Xingqiu, and Charlotte. Wriothesley will deal high on-field damage, while Furina and Xingqiu will provide extra damage and Hydro application. Charlotte will be the team’s healer to offset Furina’s HP drain and keep your team healthy and above 50% HP.
